New masterclasses from Tenet

Tenet has launched its schedule of adviser ‘masterclasses’ for 2015.

The themes were determined by feedback from Tenet members on their development needs and each session offers approximately 3 hours 45 minutes of continuing professional development (CPD), open to both Tenet and non-Tenet advisers.

Every masterclass takes place at seven locations across the UK – Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham, London, Glamorgan, Southampton and Belfast – and they are themed as follows:

Masterclass One, Corporate – March/April
Masterclass Two, Investment – June/July
Masterclass Three, Retirement – October
Masterclass four, Non-Investment – November/December

The first corporate masterclass will focus on opportunities in the business protection, group risk and auto-enrolment markets, including an overview of key employer duties in this latter area presented by The Pensions Regulator. The sessions will also offer support on forging productive professional connections and delivering a value proposition to customers.

Helen Turner, distribution and development director, said: “The masterclass format was really well received by advisers last year and our schedule for 2015 addresses key areas where members have requested development support.

“The retirement masterclass is timed six months after the pensions freedoms come into force, by which time the dust should have settled within the market and enable us to have a more constructive view of the opportunities and challenges ahead.”
